pretty writing - colorado wedding calligraphy
The absolute picture (and pen) of handwritten elegance, Evette Goldstein is an award-winning calligrapher and artist whose work hangs in the Colorado State House, the Governor’s Carriage House and (formerly) the White House. Her specialty is bringing the written word to life in virtually any style ~ from classic to contemporary and all the way back again.
In 2002, Evette launched PrettyWriting.com to showcase her unique talents and calligraphy services. All of her calligraphy work is done by hand. She has the ability to replicate what she sees, thus is able to write in virtually any style. This is a valuable skill when asked to address envelopes to match the 'font' on an invitation or to add artwork to a poem or wedding vows. She can write your vows on a wedding scroll to be read at the ceremony or fully illuminated to be framed and displayed in your new home. Complete your wedding elegance by having her hand write and address your thank you notes to match your wedding invitations. Your wedding is the most important day of your life. Begin life's most meaningful celebrations with a personal touch. By having your invitations hand addressed, the time honored art and skill of hand calligraphy tells your guests that your invitation is truly something special the moment it arrives. Her work has been published in several wedding magazines including Martha Stewart Real Weddings, The Knot Colorado, Rocky Mountain Bride, and Denver Life Weddings and she was featured in 5280 Best of the Burbs. When she’s not hard at work penning invitations, envelopes, family trees, illustrations or something else super pretty, she’s probably teaching calligraphy at Arapahoe Community College. “I want to do my part to preserve this amazing art form,” she says. |
